Cheryl's Biography

Inspired by such impressionists as Monet, Manet and Caillebotte, Cheryl Connelly paints with exuberence. Her paintings reflect her artistic visions with great depth and great use of light and color. She enjoys painting alla prima landscapes and still lifes. Collectors note her work as fresh and clear. Her european travels have inspired her to seek painterly light and perspective.

Currently studying with Shane McDonald in Atlanta, Georgia, she has attended many workshops including those with Leonard Wren and Ken Backhaus. A prolific artist, Cheryl's work can be found in galleries from Coconut Grove (South Beach), Florida to many exhibits covering the Southeast.

Cheryl currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
